Refer a booking, get rewarded

1.Eligibility

The Program is open to individuals and businesses who refer a new client to Module Set. Employees of Module Set and individuals directly involved in processing or approving a referred booking may not be eligible for referral rewards.

2.New client requirement

A referred client must be a new Module Set client. A “new client” means a person or company that:

• —has not previously completed a paid booking with Module Set; and
• —is not already actively communicating with Module Set regarding an inquiry, scout, quote, hold, or booking at the time the referral is submitted.

Referrals may not be claimed retroactively after a client has already contacted Module Set.

3.How a referral must be submitted

The referred client must identify the referring person or company when making their initial inquiry or booking request, or the referrer must provide the referral to Module Set before the referred client begins the booking process.

If multiple parties claim the same referral, Module Set may recognize the first valid referral received according to its records.

4.Qualifying booking

To qualify for a referral reward, the referred client must complete a single booking of $1,000 or more in qualifying location rental charges.

The $1,000 minimum is calculated after discounts and excludes, unless otherwise determined by Module Set:

• —sales or other taxes;
• —refundable security or damage deposits;
• —insurance;
• —credit card or payment processing fees;
• —cleaning or damage charges;
• —equipment rentals or other add-ons; and
• —other third-party or pass-through charges.

Multiple separate bookings may not be combined to reach the $1,000 minimum.

5.Referral reward

For each qualifying referral, the referrer may choose one of the following: $300 cash, or $600 Module Set rental credit.

Only one reward is available per referred client, regardless of the number or value of future bookings made by that client.

6.When the reward is earned

A referral reward is earned only after:

• —the qualifying booking has been completed;
• —Module Set has received full payment; and
• —no refund, cancellation, payment dispute, or chargeback is pending.

Module Set may reasonably delay issuing a reward while payment or booking issues are being resolved.

7.Rental credit terms

Referral rental credit:

• —has no cash value;
• —may not be redeemed for cash;
• —is non-transferable unless approved by Module Set;
• —may only be applied toward eligible Module Set rental charges;
• —may not be used toward security deposits, damages, taxes, or other excluded charges;
• —may not be combined with certain promotions or discounts where prohibited by the applicable promotion terms; and
• —expires 12 months from the date it is issued, unless otherwise stated in writing by Module Set.

Any unused credit remaining after expiration will be forfeited.

8.No self-referrals

Self-referrals are not eligible. A person or business may not receive a referral reward for referring:

• —themselves;
• —another name or entity controlled by the same person;
• —a company in which the referrer has a controlling ownership interest; or
• —a booking where the referrer is also the primary customer or payer.

Module Set may review relationships between the referrer and referred client when determining eligibility.

9.Cancellations, refunds and chargebacks

If a qualifying booking is later cancelled, refunded, reversed, disputed, or charged back before the referral reward is issued, the referral will no longer qualify.

If a reward was issued based on fraudulent or materially inaccurate information, Module Set may cancel unused rental credit or seek repayment of an improperly issued cash reward where permitted by law.

10.Fraud and abuse

Module Set reserves the right to verify all referrals and bookings. Module Set may deny, cancel, or revoke a referral reward where it reasonably determines that there has been:

• —fraud;
• —misrepresentation;
• —duplicate or fabricated referrals;
• —manipulation of the Program;
• —abuse of promotional offers;
• —an attempt to circumvent Program requirements; or
• —a violation of these Terms.

11.Taxes

Referral rewards may constitute taxable income. Recipients are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with referral rewards. Module Set may request tax documentation or issue tax reporting forms where required by law.

12.Program changes or termination

Module Set may modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time.

Changes will not ordinarily affect a qualifying referral that was validly submitted and completed before the effective date of the change, except where modification is necessary because of fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or circumstances outside Module Set’s reasonable control.

13.Eligibility decisions

All referrals and rewards are subject to verification. Module Set will determine eligibility based on these Terms, its booking records, payment records, and other reasonably relevant information.

Module Set reserves the right to deny a reward where the requirements of the Program have not been satisfied.

14.No guarantee of booking

A referral does not guarantee that Module Set will accept, approve, or enter into a booking with the referred client.

All bookings remain subject to Module Set’s normal availability, rental policies, agreements, insurance requirements, payment requirements, and other applicable terms.
