How pricing works
Standing set rental is priced by the day, by set. Prep and strike days are billed at a reduced rate because you're holding the room but not shooting in it.
Day types
- Shoot day
- A full day with cameras rolling. This is the standard rate.
- Half day
- Up to five hours on the stage, subject to availability around other bookings.
- Prep day
- Your art department dressing, your gaffer pre-lighting, your grips laying track. Reduced rate.
- Strike day
- Restoring the set and getting your gear out. Reduced rate.
- Hold
- We take the dates off the calendar while you lock your schedule. Converts to a booking with a deposit.
What brings the number down
- Multiple sets in the same booking
- Multi-week and episodic television
- Weekday and off-peak dates
- Flexible dates we can slot between other productions
- Returning productions
Booking terms
- Deposit
- A deposit holds your dates and comes off the balance. Dates aren't locked until the deposit is received.
- Balance
- Due on or before your first booked day unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
- Insurance
- A Certificate of Insurance naming Module Set LLC as additional insured is required before load-in. General liability and, where applicable, workers' compensation.
- Condition
- The set goes back the way you found it. Normal wear is expected; damage, paint and permanent alterations are billed, and any modification needs approval first.
- Overtime
- Days that run past the booked window are billed in hourly increments.
- Cancellation
- Cancellation close to your first booked day forfeits the deposit — the exact window is in your quote.
